How does Bikmo insurance work?

Insuring your eBike with Bikmo is easy. Once you’ve purchased your new Avaris eBike, simply follow the button below within 7 days of your purchase to redeem your free 14-day cover. You’ll receive an email with details about your eBike insurance cover and information on how to claim should anything happen. Once the 14-days free cover has ended, your insurance will expire and you can choose to extend or upgrade your cover and even add additional bikes if you need.

Avaris eBike customers also get an exclusive 5% discount if they decide to continue their insurance with Bikmo.

Do I need eBike insurance?

Although you don’t need insurance to ride on the roads, it’s wise to invest in eBike insurance to protect your bike from theft, vandalism and damage, and help cover the cost of repairs and replacements should anything happen. When insuring your eBike through Bikmo, you can save 25%* when insuring e-bikes over regular bikes.

Not only do Bikmo cover theft, vandalism and damage, but when you choose to continue your over, they also help cover the costs of cycling equipment and accessories as well as public liability cover and legal fees.

Which eBikes does Bikmo insure?

Bikmo insure both electric road bikes and electric mountain bikes, so no matter which Avaris eBike you choose, you can be safe in the knowledge that your electric bike is covered. So long as your eBike meets the requirements of the Road Traffic Act eBike Rules, Bikmo will insure you and your eBike for theft, accidental damage and much more.
